Dr. Rahim Moledina

Dr. Rahim Moledina is a naturopathic doctor, a recreational athlete and an adventurous chef. Rahim completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary where he graduated with Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He then went on to graduate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) with a Bachelors of Naturopathy.
While pursuing his medical degree, Rahim was given the opportunity to intern at the Sherbourne Health Centre, where the focus is on treating patients presenting with HIV and their related concerns. He was also selected to be on the Adjunctive Cancer Care shift, where the focus is to treat cancer patients from a naturopathic perspective in conjunction with conventional medicine. Rahim also has an interest in global health, recognizing the impact culture and religion can have on health. He has travelled to Ometepe, Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International where he treated locals presenting with varying health concerns while working with a limited dispensary.
As a naturopathic doctor, Rahim’s focus is to create a space that is safe, a place where his patients can have a conversation about their health and influence the direction of their treatment. Rahim has a strong interest in family and community medicine and the effect that our environment, diet and lifestyle have to our overall health.
As a recreational athlete, Rahim loves spending time outdoors biking, running and hiking. He enjoys participating in road races and he has successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Rahim absolutely loves to cook and, of course, eat his creations and he is always up for trying new foods and recipes.
